Raymond's Condensed Professional Biography
Written by Tom Harack
"I never want anyone to look at a golf course and say
‘There's a Ray Hearn designed course.' My goal is that each golf course
maintain its own identity and remain true to the characteristics of the land
it is built upon and the tenants important to its owner."
Creative ideas blended into unique natural beauty are
hallmarks of Ray Hearn's golf course design philosophy. His ability to
communicate his knowledge and his utter willingness to understand needs of
the client result in a satisfying building experience. The permanent
evidence: a pleasurable, memorable experience for the eventual players of
the golf course.
Hearn's superb ability to join his clients in creating
award-winning golf courses is due to his absolute attention to detail and
budget, and his extensive, comprehensive experience in the design process
